Welcome

Welcome to my site, I have again made a few updates. Fairly significant changes from a visitors perspective. I have upgraded my CMS to the latest version so that's good. I like the new version much better than the old. I have pretty much removed all software downloads as they are now hosted elsewhere and there is no need for me to provide downloads from my site. Also with the upgrade my blog has changed name to 'dairy' and my technical blog has moved up to be a full member and renamed to just 'blog'. I will continue to work on my site to get it to work better, faster and looking nicer.

As always Firefox is the preferred browser and all works fine using it.

Mod_rewrite!

I've finally gotten around to enabling mod_rewrite! Feels better, makes for better urls and it was not all that hard. Of course if you find something not working please contact me and I can fix it. My testing indicates it is all working. I've also written another blog post. I hope to be a bit more active on my blog now, but of course I have to have something valuable to add, not just rambling, well there will be some ramblings as well. Anyway mod_rewrite now works and looks good. I will update other redirects I have in place over the coming weeks.

Contact form enabled

I did some minor tweaking, got the contact form working complete with my own custom spam protection. This new site is coming together ever so slowly. Soon it will be ready. I hope!

New site

I've updated my site quite a bit this time. A completly new design, a bit more modern. I also switched blogging module and promoted my technical blog to be a full page and not just a sub page of the dairy. While I was at it I also renamed my old 'blog' to 'dairy'. There is still plenty of things to fix. I have not yet set up mod_rewrite, nor have I removed my old blog and fully integrated it into the site. While I was at it I also renamed it to 'dairy' as that is what it is. I have removed all software downloads and instead point them all to Softpedia as they host it for me anyway. Hopefully this new layout and structure will help me keep the site more up to date.
